She constantly experiments with unconventional techniques, playing with color to achieve complex and whimsical shades, as well as incorporating contrasting textures.
Her artwork can be found in private collections in the United States, Italy, Luxembourg, and Russia. In 2021, Marie XI emerged into the public art sphere, actively participating in various exhibition projects, competitions, and other contemporary art events. Her creative expression is an art form without rules or boundaries, reflecting on the perception of the world, psychology of life, relationships, states, systems, and Samsara. Marie XI expresses her emotions and experiences through textures and colors on canvas, conveying her mood through subtle shades. Her works are infused with the spirit of time, captivating and resonating in the soul with barely perceptible overtones.
As an artist, Marie XI strives to capture the deepest and most hidden corners of our consciousness and portray them in her works. All the imagery in her art—withered leaves, aged trees, peeling doors, walls, staircases, decaying avocados—represents essential life cycles and their fading as the birth of something new.
