Olesia Lebedenko, Emerging artist

Olesia Lebedenko is a painter with a penchant for sunsets, nature, and the sea. She primarily works with oil on canvas, infusing her paintings with abstract elements, a love for expressionism, and a talent for highlighting details. Olesia does not aim for realism or hyperrealism in her work, as she believes there are photographers who specialize in capturing reality.

She describes her painting style as slow yet emotional. Olesia's life revolves around caring for her son, who is autistic and has significant developmental differences. She has taken on the dual role of a mother and artist, often creating art alongside her son. Olesia's son, inspired by her work, has also begun drawing and making sounds while observing her canvases.

Living on the coast of the Baltic Sea, Olesia's art is infused with the energy and colors of the natural world that surrounds her every day. She draws from the unique beauty and diversity of sunsets, sunrises, and the sea, which never appear the same twice. She isn't afraid to experiment with new materials and techniques, and her art is open to all the possibilities that the world offers.

One of the most significant events in her artistic career was the organization of her first solo exhibition. This was a lifelong dream, and it served as a turning point in her life, inspiring her to create more artwork and organize further exhibitions.

Olesia has been an active member of the "Club of Good People" charitable foundation since 2016, which supports autistic individuals and children with special needs. Given her own experiences, she provides assistance and support to other mothers facing similar challenges. Since 2020, she has also been involved with the "Help" foundation, helping elderly people who have been left alone and without support after the passing of their relatives.

Olesia believes that her art and colors have the power to inspire and aid in healing. She has seen real-life examples of people who have been inspired by her work, leading to them taking up painting themselves. One of her collectors has found solace and emotional healing through one of her most vibrant paintings during a particularly difficult period in her life.

Her artistic journey has included participation in numerous exhibitions, both online and in galleries, with recognition and awards for her work.
