Daria Ilyukhina, Experienced artist

Based in Rostov-on-Don, Born 1990

Among the numerous group exhibitions she has participated in, a special mention goes to the exhibition "Just Summer on My Mind" at Artseeker Gallery in Miami and the art fair "Art Contact Istanbul" in Istanbul.

In 2022, Daria was awarded 1st place at the International Experimental Art Exhibition "Spring Vertigo" in Moscow, Russia. In 2012, she was a laureate (2nd place) at the 8th International Design Project Competition "Perspective" in Moscow, Russia.

Daria is actively involved in a charitable project starting from September 17, 2023, aimed at assisting an animal shelter. She creates paintings, and the proceeds from their sales are donated to charity.

In her works, Daria is known for her love of color and texture. She primarily uses acrylic as her medium, allowing her to experiment with combinations, shapes, and textures. Her canvases feature depictions of contemporary men and women, and the abstract forms and colors she uses help visualize her thoughts on individual positioning within society, the environment in which these individuals exist, their professions, and relationships. She also enjoys deviating from portraiture into narratives, allowing her to explore various objects and subjects, ranging from animal themes to still life. Her creative journey, which began with academic painting, continues with the search for her unique perspective on composition, techniques, and an overall stylistic concept. She doesn't confine herself to a specific style but rather embraces the opportunity to explore the new, which provides her with ample inspiration and creative space.

Beyond painting, Daria specializes in customizing clothing and footwear, including a collaboration with adidas Russia. She is also an accomplished mural artist, having painted over 2,500 square meters of walls. Her mural work includes projects for Radisson Hotel Group, one of the largest hotel companies.

Several significant milestones mark her career from 2018 to 2023:

• International Art Project "Weightlessness," Russian Cultural Center in Beijing, Beijing Association of Art Critics, G Gallery, April 2023, Beijing, China.

• International Exhibition Ankara Art Fair, March 2023, Turkey.

• Adidas CREATORS BASE, Moscow Museum, "Cities of Football" project, as an invited artist-customizer, June 2018, Moscow, Russia.

• Masterclass on clothing painting for TELE2 Russia's project "House by Different Rules," May 2020, Moscow, Russia.

• Masterclass on clothing and shoe painting as part of the "Green Friday" project, MEGA Shopping Center, as an invited artist-customizer, November 2021, Rostov-on-Don.

Currently, four of Daria's paintings will be featured at The Shanghai International Art Fair from November 16 to 19, 2023. Additionally, two of her artworks are on display at the Festival of Russian Art at the Ankara Scientific Institute during the "Russia-Turkish Week of Culture and Art."
