This artwork is a vivid example of abstract art, playing with contrasts of texture and form. 
The artwork is dominated by what appears to be a tactile, heavily textured black surface on the left, which may suggest a certain depth and roughness, similar to a wall eroded by time or natural elements.  This texture is juxtaposed with a silver section on the right, which reflects light and creates a sense of refinement.
Between these two distinct areas runs a sinuous, wavy line, a river of white that seems to separate and yet connect the two halves. 
The viewer might see in it a landscape, a conceptual map, or a purely visual play of forms and textures, depending on their individual perspective.
