  • What you see in this picture may seem ordinary to someone, but I think many people have a question about what the author wanted to convey. First of all, I want you to think about the days when the war began. What did you feel? Maybe it was fear or bewilderment. In this picture, I wanted to convey my emotions about what is happening-fear, misunderstanding that all this is real, desire to close myself off from information. The angel girl represents something pure, heavenly, and as we all know, the angel means salvation, life, but the girl is in the dark, she is feeling lost and does not know how to help people. She can no longer look at these terrible events, she is tired, and is crying “bloody” tears of sorrow, trying to close herself off from the world, since there is nothing good left for her in it. But if we look below, we’ll see that the angel girl is holding a red rose in her hands, which gives hope that everything can change, you just have to believe in goodness, in love. The rose in the painting is the embodiment of the birth of a new life. The main accents of the picture are, without a doubt, "bloody" tears and the Rose. It's like a confrontation between death and life. They are always nearby, at equal distances from each other.
