In this continuation of the series, the branches expand laterally across a more saturated chromatic field. Vibrant yellows, violets, and cool greys blur into one another, creating an atmosphere that feels suspended rather than grounded.
The blossoms appear at measured intervals, functioning as points of emphasis within a fluid background. Their scale remains restrained, allowing negative space and color transitions to carry equal structural weight.
Depth is intentionally destabilized. The branches seem to hover within a shallow, shifting plane where foreground and background negotiate their positions. Light does not illuminate from a single source; it diffuses across the surface, softening hierarchy.
If the first work examined the threshold between emergence and illumination, this second study intensifies the field itself. Color becomes active — not descriptive, but spatial.
The bloom does not dominate the light.
It exists within it.
