This diptych unfolds as a study in presence. Branches extend across two panels, suspended within a softly diffused field of color. The background does not describe a specific landscape; it functions as atmosphere — a space in which perception slows.

The composition resists narrative. Instead, it invites sustained attention. Leaves and blossoms emerge gradually from layered paint and subtle surface texture, encouraging the viewer to remain rather than move on.

Light is dispersed rather than focused, dissolving hierarchy within the image. The branches appear neither advancing nor receding; they occupy a balanced state between motion and stillness.

The work reflects an approach grounded in awareness — not as theme, but as method. Each mark seems placed with restraint, allowing negative space to carry equal weight with form.

Stillness here is not absence.

It is active, attentive presence.
