In Layered Living, the artist constructs an interior where nature, intellect, and ritual coexist in deliberate balance. A sculptural plant, housed in a translucent amber vessel, anchors the composition with organic vitality, its serrated leaves unfolding against a disciplined linear backdrop.
The bold black-and-white stripes introduce structural tension, countering the lush complexity of the foliage. Books, porcelain, fruit, and ceramic details are positioned with precision — less as objects of consumption, more as markers of cultivated presence.
Beneath the warmth of the palette lies an architectural sensibility. Geometry and pattern ground the composition, creating a layered dialogue between softness and structure, spontaneity and control.
In alignment with ArtSeeker Gallery’s focus on women shaping space with intention, the work reframes the domestic interior as authored territory — a site of clarity rather than confinement.
Layered Living suggests that beauty is not accidental. It is composed, curated, and consciously lived.
