In My World, a child figure hovers above a vertical metropolis, suspended between clouds and glass towers. The city rises in rigid blue planes, while the girl’s presence introduces softness — a counter-architecture of skin, fabric, and breath.

She holds the globe not as ornament, but as weight. The gesture is careful, deliberate. The Earth becomes less a symbol of innocence and more a question of responsibility — who carries the future, and at what scale?

The red sneakers ground the composition in contemporary reality, disrupting the celestial setting with an everyday detail. The painting operates between fantasy and critique: a fragile body positioned above structures of power.

Light floods the scene, yet it does not sentimentalize it. Instead, it exposes contrast — smallness against magnitude, vulnerability against skyline.

Rather than presenting childhood as naïve optimism, the work frames it as potential — an unformed force situated above systems already built.

The world here is not inherited.
It is being imagined.
