New York Glam turns Manhattan into a runway where glamour is less about perfection than presence. Two women stride through the city with theatrical confidence, their exaggerated bodies, towering heels, pearls, leopard print, and vivid makeup competing with yellow taxis, traffic lights, and the vertical rhythm of the skyline.

Yana deliberately pushes the female figure beyond natural proportion. Legs stretch, gestures expand, and facial features become almost mask-like, creating a visual language that moves between contemporary figuration, fashion illustration, and pop expressionism. Fluid contours and saturated reds, yellows, pinks, and turquoise give the scene the immediacy of a spontaneous drawing while amplifying its sense of movement and urban energy.

There is humor in the excess, but the women are never reduced to caricature. They command the image. Manhattan seems to reorganize itself around their presence rather than the other way around. Glamour becomes a form of self-definition: playful, excessive, sensual, and entirely self-possessed.

In New York Glam, Yana Medow captures New York not through architectural accuracy, but through attitude. The city becomes a stage for the pleasure of being visible — and taking up exactly as much space as one desires.
