Constructed from over 3,000 hand-cut fragments sourced from fashion editorials, Summer On My Mind unfolds as a fluid visual current rather than a fixed scene. Faces emerge and dissolve, botanical forms twist into ornamental rhythms, and figures drift between clarity and abstraction.
The composition feels like a state of thought — layered, nonlinear, associative. Summer here is not seasonal; it is psychological. A condition of brightness, memory, and excess imagery.
Fragments of glamour, flora, portraiture, and pattern interweave into a continuous movement across the surface. There is no single focal point — the eye wanders, pauses, returns. Each viewing reveals new alignments between figures and symbols.
The collage transforms fashion imagery into a living field of imagination — where identity is multiple, porous, and in motion.
