Daria Gerasimova (GerDa) is a contemporary artist whose work revolves around the theme of women, capturing their essence through harmonious depictions of beauty, strength, and introspective moments. Born in 1990 and self-taught since 2018, GerDa’s art is an invitation into the lives of women portrayed as connected, serene, and strong figures, often blending seamlessly with their surroundings. Her compositions are infused with a warm, inviting atmosphere achieved through her use of an orange imprimatur, which creates a unique sunlit glow across her canvases, evoking a sense of summer and warmth.
Currently based in Leipzig, Germany, GerDa has showcased her art internationally, including at the MoRA Museum in New York and upcoming exhibitions like Art3f in Paris. Her works are held in private collections across the globe, underscoring the universal appeal of her art. GerDa's goal is to communicate the stories of women, reflecting their inner worlds and moments of happiness, through her distinct, cohesive style.
