Olga Afanasiadi, a contemporary artist based in Saint Petersburg, finds inspiration in the boundless forms and energies of nature. Her work explores the intricate relationships and connections within the natural world, viewing it as a universal home for all living beings. Olga uses various mediums, including acrylic, sand, coffee, wood, textiles, stones, and branches, to recreate her immersive experiences with nature, capturing its textures and energies. Her commitment to sustainable art is evident in her use of recycled materials, integrating found objects and reducing her ecological footprint in her artistic practice.
Olga's creative journey has led her to participate in numerous prestigious exhibitions worldwide. Notable events include her solo exhibition "Natural Forms: Impressions and Concepts" at Molbert Gallery in 2020 and group showcases at prominent fairs like Carrousel du Louvre, WorldArtDubai, and Flower Power (Netherlands, Paris, and Brussels). Olga continues to expand her artistic expression and currently collaborates with galleries in Switzerland, Belgium, and Spain, alongside her ongoing projects in Russia.
