AFFORDABLE ART FAIR:
NEW YORK FALL 2025
2025 - September, 30
This September, Artseeker Gallery joined more than 85 international exhibitors at the Affordable Art Fair New York Fall 2025, held in its new home — the Starrett-Lehigh Building in Chelsea — giving visitors a chance to reconnect with art that feels accessible, personal, and alive.
Under the curatorial direction of Uliana Sal, Artseeker presented Booth D13 — a space built around emotion, color, and the human connection behind each work. The booth became a quiet yet confident statement about sincerity in contemporary art — a reminder that visual impact can coexist with honesty and warmth.
Rooted in Brooklyn and focused on community, Artseeker Gallery champions art that speaks through feeling rather than theory. The booth reflected this philosophy: bold color, tactile surfaces, and stories that resonate long after you leave.
Artseeker was also featured by Cohart in their editorial “Meet the Galleries: Your Guide to the Best at the Affordable Art Fair NYC”, recognized as one of the fair’s standout participants of the season.
The booth showcased artists selected by both Artseeker Gallery and AAF, whose works blended lyrical abstraction, figurative storytelling, and sculptural experimentation:
-
Alisa Diakova - exploring faith, tenderness, and presence in everyday life.
-
Daria Borisova - portraying animals as mirrors of human emotion and vulnerability.
-
Irina Sazonova - fluid, meditative abstractions balancing stillness and movement.
-
Kordeliz - minimalist forms and layered transitions that tell the story of life through abstraction.
-
Marina Belousova - ironic and psychological animal allegories addressing society and identity.
-
NASKA (Anastasiia Gladkova) - symbols of fragility and renewal, merging porcelain tones with traditional Russian motifs.
-
VICTO - the poetry of everyday life, filled with light and quiet humor, where cats and domestic scenes invite us to slow down and observe the world around us.
Each artist brought a unique voice, yet together they created a cohesive rhythm — a conversation about emotion, resilience, and human presence in a complex world.
Rather than emphasizing strict themes or chronology, the booth was arranged according to emotional intensity and visual rhythm.
Vivid, expressive works alternated with softer, contemplative pieces, leading viewers through a sensory journey. Materiality played a central role — layered paint, metallic gleam, and textured surfaces created an almost tactile dialogue with the viewer.
Curator Uliana Sal described the concept simply:
“We wanted to create a space where people could pause, breathe, and feel — even just for a moment. That’s what art is meant to do.”
At a fair known for discovery and accessibility, Artseeker’s presentation resonated for its human scale. It didn’t compete through spectacle — it connected through sincerity.
Collectors appreciated the range — from small-format pieces to larger, striking works — and many visitors noted that the booth felt welcoming rather than intimidating, perfectly capturing the spirit of the Affordable Art Fair.
Over 20,000 visitors attended the fair across five days, confirming what the fair’s director described as “New York’s renewed appetite for accessible, high-quality art.”
Within this context, Artseeker Gallery positioned itself as part of the new Brooklyn movement — energetic, independent, and emotionally grounded.
For Artseeker, this participation marked another step toward building connections between international artists and the New York audience.
It continues the gallery’s mission to show that contemporary art can be both meaningful and accessible, whether displayed in a Chelsea fair booth or in its Brooklyn space.
“We’re here to build bridges — between artists and collectors, between emotion and form, between honesty and aesthetics,”
says Uliana Sal.
“That’s the future we believe in.”
