"History is written with blood, sweat and tears, perhaps it's etched into eternity by the quiet endurance of courageous people"
Degas was not the only one to portray the ballet, but something has changed in it, hasn't it? The order to have fun cannot look otherwise.
Public holidays, festivities, concerts - all this can only happen in a free and democratic state, when visiting them is the freely expressed will of a citizen. However, more and more often one can observe a different picture - a mandatory, undeniable presence at these events. Deprivation of bonuses, reprimand, fine - this is a small fraction of what can happen to those who violate the unwritten law and refuse to attend the event organized by the state.
The work "Courage" is about a man who was not afraid to look different. He is immersed in himself, and although his hands are chained, the time will come when he will spread his wings.
Nothing is lost as long as courage remains.
