This artwork is inspired by the hydrangeas growing in my garden. In the summer, they look like snow-white butterflies sitting on branches, but by October, they transform into deep pink and burgundy "butterflies." I painted them as they naturally appeared, without altering their composition. I aimed to capture their texture, volume, and colors through detailed brushwork. The painting moves from details to the whole, using shades of ripe raspberries, cherries, cold pinks, and wine tones, with a hint of green. The background is a deep blue, created by mixing cool pink and cool blue tones, which change depending on the room’s lighting, from deep to lighter during daylight hours.
