In my artwork I investigate the idea of humans memory and water, combining fragments of my journey memories with feelings from them.We usually want to pass the water energy through ourselves, touch it with our hands, walk with our feet or feel it with our body, diving into it. To be honest it is interesting to see/watch that a lot of people, in order to share their tactile sensations, post their videos of feet walking on water in social networks thereby showing how pleasant their feelings are, how inspirational the process is and how pleasurable is the connection being made with water.
Really, remember what do you feel when you come up into contact with water? (we do not take those who have fear). Relaxation, a feeling of joy and happiness, openness to the world. For me, this moment means to be over the moon and to start feel life sharply. When the hands dance their own dance, when the body becomes lighter and weightless, when the sense of time disappears. When you want to dissolve…The cross-cutting topic of my artworks is surfing and the ocean. In this artwork, it is revealed most clearly from the point of view of sensations. Each wave is unique, each turn is unique, each emotion is priceless. Hands act as a connecting element, trying to express emotions in their dance, and surfers are expecting to touch it while listening to the music of the ocean.
What will we keep in our memory after the trip? A smile when you caught that very wave, a feeling of the strength of the wave, when you decided to touch it with your hand, warmth from the caress of the rays of the dawn sun ..It's up to us to decide. As a key medium in this artwork, I used a new material - fragments of glass, symbolizing the glare of the sun on the water. The mosaic contains sand as the key symbol of the ocean. Water with its texture and fluidity is conveyed through color, smooth and sinuous lines.
