The artist draws attention here to the value of women's needs. Having faced the problem of ignoring the personality characteristics of a woman from childhood, GerDa wants to show that a woman can become happy only when her needs are met. The artist had to fight the world in order not to do monotonous work and not to live a monotonous life that she did not want. It was a struggle to be able to do important things in the field of art and manifest through it. In Russia, GerDa experienced the experience of imposing traditional patriarchal values on a woman, forcing her to fulfill a certain standard social role (which includes reproductive violence, bullying about appearance and weight, criticism about the choice of profession).
