"Solaris" has a phonetic similarity with another Latin word "Solis", which means "loneliness"
I gave the name to the painting, reasoning over the deepest literary works of Stanislaw Lem of the same name - that's how the writer called the OCEAN...
The artwork tells that a person without faith is only a focus of vices, sins and weaknesses. Without faith, human life becomes random, meaningless, and it turns out that the person himself is just a toy in the hands of the indifferent "universal mind", which, by and large, does not care about the person himself.
In solitude lies both strength and weakness.
The canvas captures the story of my experience, how I drew strength from loneliness and found freedom and self-confidence.
But such are people - we are all different, and everyone who looks at the picture is an integral part of it, and sees something of their own in it.
The artwork would be a fitting addition to spaces where reflection and intellectual stimulation are encouraged, such as private studies, home libraries, or even modern corporate offices. The dominating blues and blacks suggest depth and complexity, ideal for areas that invite introspective thought. The canvas speaks to those who appreciate art that combines personal experience with universal themes of faith, individuality, and the human condition.
