When I left Russia, I had to leave my cat, named «Bumblebee», with my parents. The longing for him became the spark that inspired this painting. But over time, other meanings found their way into it — about the changes that happen to the soul when it goes through transformation.
This painting is for those who can see not only the brightness of colors but also the silence behind them.
For those who once chose to hide rather than disappear.
For those who still feel — even when it seems they’ve become just a “plant” among others.
The cat here is a reflection of the inner observer who never sleeps.
He is our intuition — the inner light hidden in the jungle of “external noise.”
He sees through illusions.
Everyone will find their own meanings in abstract art, but I will say this:
“Sweet dream cat” is a reminder that being sensitive doesn’t mean being weak.
It means being alive!
